Öhlins and Specialized announced a partnership on design and construction of mountainbike suspension components. Torkel Sintorn of Öhlins and Sam Benedict of Specialized dive deep into the development of the all-new TTX rear shock that will appear on select 2014 Specialized Demo and Enduro EVO mountain bikes. The advanced technology borne of years of motorsports expertise will deliver downhill and technical terrain riders a new level of control.
At this moment this is an OEM deal between Öhlins and Specialized where Öhlins has been asked to develop and supply Specialized with one shock absorber for one specific bike model developed for downhill biking.
Öhlins is excited about this new opportunity as this opens up the possibility for more MTB-activities by Öhlins in the future.
